Radev: The Republic of North Macedonia must convince its citizens that it is a democratic country

The leadership of the Republic of North Macedonia must convince not Bulgaria but its citizens that it is building a democratic state. A state where Bulgarian clubs are not shot at or set on fire and Bulgarians in this state are not subjected to systematic harassment, physical violence and staged trials. This is what President Rumen Radev said in response to a BGNES question about the existence of "blacklists" and violence against Bulgarians.

Radev is adamant that "the leadership of the RNM can claim that it is building a modern multi-ethnic society when it finds the strength to include the compatriots of Gotse Delchev in its Constitution." /BGNES
